Hello, Bunker Folks!
I hope this finds all of you well and recovered from 2023. Let’s all try to make 2024 better, whatever that might look like for you personally.
For us, here in the North Texas Apocalypse Bunker, we’re refocusing on writing, publishing, doing creative stuff, and telling stories, not necessarily in that order–but probably exactly in that order.
What this means for you is that we’re going to update the Bunker blog functions to include more stuff, with the goal being WEEKLY. That being said, y’all know I wear a lot of hats, and some of you may not be here for the fez, but you showed up for the newsie cap. Or maybe you like the ball cap, but not the beanie. I get it. Not everyone is a hat person. There’s a brilliant metaphor here, somewhere. Stick with me; we’ll find it together.
So, this weekly (hopefully) content will be more articles, some personal musings, game-design writing, and some reviews, books, and movies, and whatnot. The free substack will still be where the most personal musings are parked, but there will be a few exceptions. So, going forward, we’ll have something at the front of each post to tell you what it is. If you’re just here for the gaming conversation, that’s cool; you can skip the ones that say “Trip Report,” or maybe don’t, because I’m trying to lead as fascinating a life as possible and you never know what shenanigans I’ll get up to.
We’re not going to consider this part of the weekly tally; I still owe you a blog post. I just wanted to let everyone know, going forward, what the plan is. Here’s a proof of life photo for those of you who have been worried about me.
